Krishnaaya Vaasudevaaya Devaki Nandanaaya ca

Nandagopa Kumaaraaya Govindaaya Namo Namah

कृष्णाय वासुदेवाय देवकी नन्दनाय च ।
नन्दगोप कुमाराय गोविन्दाय नमो नमः ॥

 

Lord Krishna, the son of Vasudeva and Devaki. Also, the son of Cowherd Nanda. Oh Krishna, you are none other than Lord Govinda Himself. I bow to You.

वासुदेवु अणि देवकी लो पूतु, गोर्वान्चो नन्दा लो पूतु,

श्रीकृष्ण तू स्वयं थो गोविंदु देवु , तुक्का मागेले नमस्कारु ।

Ganesha took eight avatars or incarnations to save the world from evil, of which, Vakratunda is the first avatar. Lord Ganesha took this avatar and riding on a lion defeated the evil demon Matsarasura. By reciting this powerful sloka, we will be protected from any kind of obstacles in our life.

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ: ।
